Style of Taiwan, quality of Italy
Eva Air has introduced new bespoke tableware in its Premium Economy cabin, in partnership with Clip.
Made in Italy by renowned tableware brand Guzzini, the products combine the brand’s signature transparent material with inspirations of Taiwan’s culture, such as the discreet tea leaf pattern and asymmetrical lines that aim to reference contemporary architectural landmarks of the island. The salt and pepper set even becomes a miniature iconic Taiwanese building.
The Eva Air equipment aims to be elegant but also durable and functional. The items are also designed for long-term use.
The tray, long plate, two-colour bowl and cup are made from injection plastic. The main casserole is made from lightweight china and the paper liner and napkin are from eco-friendly paper.
Cindy Lam, Clip director, says: “Passengers are becoming more demanding in term of quality for the overall travel experience and equipment plays a key role. Clip aims to bring a cohesive, relevant and international lifestyles tableware brand to the market and help Eva Air further cement and differentiate themselves in creating an enhanced passenger experience”.
