Iberia launches pre-purchase meal service
On May 17 Iberia announced the launch of their new ‘Deliverfly’ service which allows guests on short and medium-haul flights to pre-order food and snacks at the time of booking on Iberia.com. The new service has been launched in partnership with the start-up Homeria, specialists in online systems, and is part of Iberia’s sustainability and COVID prevention plan. The large range of delicious and healthy food options will be prepared daily by the airline’s caterers Do&Co. The affordable menu includes hot and cold dishes, including vegan and salmon “poke” bowls, a variety of salads, sandwiches and pastas, including lasagna, as well as gourmet tapas.
Deliverfly is available from the moment of booking up to 60 minutes prior to departure for drinks and packaged snacks, while fresh meals, salads and sandwiches must be ordered at least four hours in advance of departure in Madrid, and 24 hours in advance for other Iberia gateways. Customers will receive e-mail confirmation of their orders.
