Snapfresh: Car Catering

Brisbane Airport has contracted with leading ready-to-eat meal provider Snapfresh, one of dnata's companies, for an innovative grocery retail solution: a meal vending machine.

This will allow passengers to be served while catering facilities in the terminal are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brisbane Airport currently operates 28 weekly international flights. His administration believes that this is not enough to keep shops and cafes open.

Martin Ryan, Chief Commercial Officer of Brisbane Airport Corporation, said that "the car is a great solution at a time when the number of passengers has decreased by 98%." This not only ensures additional dining options for travelers in transit through the airport, but employees can also eat at the workplace.

Hiranjan Aloysius, CEO of dnata catering, said that the menu of the "smart machine" consists of six types of rations. The term for serving a ready-made hot dish is 70 seconds, a cold one is served almost instantly.
