Swiss Airlines SWISS is looking for new flavors in the premium menu.
On November 30, the airline announced a fresh selection of culinary creations as part of the SWISS Taste of Switzerland program.
Delicacies created by Michelin-star Alexandra Müller, chef at the Romantik L'Etoile Hotel in Sharm, Canton of Friborg, will be served on board. The menu will be available for SWISS First and Business Class passengers on long-haul flights from December 2 this year until the end of May next year.
Alexandra Müller's gourmet food choices include leeks with egg yolk cream and truffle vinaigrette, beef appetizer with beetroot salad and blue cheese, crusty venison, fondue and other delicacies from the Canton of Friborg. For dessert, Ms Müller recommends white and dark chocolate mousse with Breton cookie crumbs or double cream meringue and plum compote.
Mrs. Müller is from Frankfurt. She developed her culinary skills at the Lufthansa Group LSG Sky Chefs. In 2000 she was awarded a Fellowship by the German Federal Government. In Sharm, canton of Friborg, she has been operating since 2011.
