Aeroflot gastronomic comfort
The flagship of Russian civil aviation, Aeroflot, has prepared a new Comfort* class menu for its customers, which is introduced from July 16 on flights from 2 to 6 hours from Moscow and to Moscow and on flights from Moscow from 6 hours. The airline said: "Menu was developed by energetic and professional chefs of the Aeromar company". The leading authors of the project are well-known Russian chefs Alexander Volkov-Medvedev and Sergey Pechnikov.
Depending on the departure time, guests on flights lasting up to 3 hours are offered a hot breakfast or lunch/dinner, on flights from 3 to 6 hours – a hot breakfast or a hot lunch/dinner, and on long–haul flights - two on-board meals consisting of appetizers, salads, choice of 2-3 hot main dishes and dessert.
Traditional Russian dishes are included in the menu: pancakes with mushrooms, cheesecakes in lingonberry sauce, salads "Russian" and "Stolichny", and others, as well as delicious dishes of foreign cuisine. The Comfort class on-board meals provide choice of main dishes for meat or fish lovers, as well for fans of vegetarian and lactose-free food.
