Delta returns hot meals
On June 14 Delta Air Lines announced that Delta One and First Class customers flying on domestic routes flying from Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco will once again enjoy hot meals.
Customers will notice the return of popular menu items such as pancakes with syrup, a smoked salmon with chips, and beef short ribs with whipped potatoes. For flights on departure from Los Angeles, premium guests will be treated to acclaimed Italian-American fare by L.A. Chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, with classics such as marinara-braised meatballs and juicy chicken parmesan. Delta’s bread service will now also feature locally-sourced sourdough bread and slow-cultured butter from Atlanta. Premium customers will be able to brose the menus digitally via their seatback IFE screens.
Delta Air Lines’ Chief Customer Experience Officer, Allison Ausband, said:
«The new meals are the latest in an ongoing series of enhancements we've been making to our offerings in flight. Delta continues to take an intentional approach to the return of our onboard food and beverage program to ensure service is coming back safely and even better than before».
